What are Anti-wrinkle injections?

Anti-wrinkle injections also known as ‘botox’ is a neurotoxin known as botulinum type A, it is a product injected into the chosen area to relax the muscle and give the desired effect, usually for smoothing wrinkles, although it can be used in a variety of different ways, such as improving facial symmetry, slimming of the jawline, curing a ‘gummy smile’, easing the symptoms of persistent migraines and to prevent excessive sweating.

Anti-wrinkle injections are most commonly referred to as ‘Botox”. Botox is a brand of botulinum toxin by the company Allergan, there are other brands of botulinum toxin such as Bocouture, Azzalure and Dysport just to name a few.
