About Dermal Filler
Dermal Fillers are used for facial aesthetic treatments and are injected into the skin. They are designed to effectively reduce the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, contour and create volume, and to revitalize the skin. Dermal fillers are based on Hyaluronic acid which is a substance that already naturally exists in your body.

Lip filler is a fantastic treatment and can give a variety of results depending on the look or effect you want to achieve –
Correction of symmetry – When people talk about lip filler they immediately think they are going to get huge lips, that really doesn’t have to be the case, some people want very little if any plumping effect at all and just want to correct the symmetry of their lips to give them a more even appearance, this can have great benefit to the face as a whole.
Definition – for those who would just like to define their lips a little, injecting dermal filler into the vermillion border can provide a really lovely natural defined look to your lips, another benefit of dermal filler injection into the vermillion border is for smoothing and softening small lines around the mouth caused by ageing, smoking or expression. Although for deep smokers lines a variety of injection techniques are used depending on the severity of the line and the client being treated.
Volume – The most popular reason for seeking dermal filler to the lip area, to create definition, plump and balance the lips, every individual is different so volume will really depend on the particular client, taking into account face shape, facial features and client preference.
Hydration – I have treated clients who have started having lip filler in small amounts just to achieve that hydrated healthy looking lip, some people suffer with dry and flaky or chapped lips and because Hyaluronic acid based dermal filler is a water loving product, meaning it draws water to the area its placed it really can help to rehydrate dry lips.
Facial Filler
Nasolabial Folds – These are the lines either side of your mouth, your smile lines. For some people these get deeper and more harsh looking with age. Injecting dermal filler into these lines can really soften their appearance and create a softer more youthful look.
